Specter — fleet specialist that grades, repairs safely, and files work

Specter is Ghost Protocol’s operator-facing fleet agent: it understands Shadow health, keeps repairs safe (no blind reboots), and hands structured work to Hermes kanban when a human or patch queue is required.

On the marketing site, Specter also powers docs/store chat. On this hub, use the demos below for ops narrative and training.

Public-safe

Demos use role labels (Shadow 1 / Shadow 2) and illustrative metrics—not live fleet IDs or credentials. Browser workflows always go through the proxy / Access path, never device secrets.

When to use Specter (ops)

SituationSpecter value
Thermal / health CRITICALGrades severity, proposes safe hygiene, files Hermes work
Storage pressureFinds orphan justified chunks past retention; KEEP live streams
Multi-device fleetSame plan deployed to Shadow 1 and Shadow 2 with verify
External agentsWorks with A2A / MCP / Hermes mesh via proxy

Hard rules

  1. No blind reboot on residual heat — HITL residual checks first (see kanban demo).
  2. KEEP live streams when purging orphans — only past-retention inactive chunks.
  3. Proxy-owned paths for fleet tools — external agents do not hold device secrets.
